Interesting fact about getting into Taiwan:
For foreign nationals of the following countries can enter
Taiwan visa-free as a visitor provided that theirs passports are valid for at
least 6 months upon entry:
- For all European Union member states include Canada, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Liechtenstein, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, the United States have up to 90 days for visa-free as a visitor.
- Other from European Union, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and South Korea have up to 30days for visa-free as a visitor.
- Unfortunately, other states have to go through visa process in order to enter Taiwan as a visitor.
Also in Taiwan, there are many public transportations that tourists can go almost anywhere they want. Compare to standard of public transportations with other countries, I believe Taiwan's public transportations have higher standards than them in terms of safety as well as arriving on time. I especially like train in Taiwan because it connects to everywhere that I can travel to my destination in short amount of time.
Taiwan has different types of food:
As
I traveled around Taiwan, I came across with interesting fact about Taiwanese
food style. To put simply, the Taiwanese
food are derived from mainland Chinese cuisines that it is possible to find
Szechuan (四川) food, Hunan (湖南) food, Beifang (北方) food, and Cantonese (廣東) food, in almost
everywhere in Taiwan. In addition,
friend of mine from Taiwan once told me that Taiwanese are fond of eggs and
seafood that you always see them eating it.
Beside from eggs and seafood, unique subtropical climate in Taiwan
allows different fruits to grow that you can almost find any fruits that you
can think of.
